From my early years in Central London fine jewellery and fantastic antique jewellery in Cheshire to running a valuation practice in Chester, jewellery has never been boring. During my 30 years of experience in the jewellery industry I have gained the required qualifications and also a wealth of practical experience, valuing thousands of individual items plus whole generational family collections which puts me in an incredibly strong position to offer a service to clients in the North West but also throughout the UK.
Gone are the days where a quick look at a piece of jewellery and a hastily scribbled valuation would suffice. I do remember those days but the jewellery valuation industry like much of modern business has moved on; improving its systems whilst educating and supporting its members to work with upmost professionalism, exacting standards and up to the minute pricing. Global auction sales, travel and internet shopping have motivated Registered Jewellery Valuers to develop their skills. Not only to value complicated antique jewellery but pieces manufactured globally with unusual gemstones, different manufacturing qualities and unknown brands.
