No need to send your jewellery and watches away or to wait for weeks to get it back from a local jeweller. We appraise your jewellery on the day of your appointment at our discreet Chester office or for multiple items, at your home. We charge fixed, transparent prices so we are often less expensive too.
We have extensive experience in high net worth jewellery and Classic and Collector’s watches.
Uk insurance companies have placed restrictions on the type of valuation report that they will accept for high net worth items and this is something we deal with regularly and can advise on. We appraise your items whilst you wait at the office but for particularly large collections we will come to you and appraise the items at your home.
This service includes an office appointment, detailed appraisal, a fully researched document (online and hard copy) and digital photographs.
Fees ;
- Document and one item only- from £100 (Email valuation only for single item valuations)
- Document and two items from £145
- Subsequent simple jewellery items from £60
- All high end watches such as Rolex – from £100
- Single Diamonds over 1.50ct and complicated items from £150
- Single Diamonds over 3.00ct and complicated items from £200
The increased price for larger diamonds and more complicated items are due to the advanced research involved in deriving the final value. This is often researched on restricted worldwide trade websites, luxury retailers and international auction houses.
Prices are set for items that have paperwork such as certificates, previous valuations or receipts. If you have no paperwork whatsoever there may be an additional fee for the additional complexity of the appraisal.
